The M. M. Robinson High School Robotics Team (MMRambotics) is seeking help from companies like yours! Each year the team participates in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Challenge (FRC). The FRC combines the excitement of sport with the rigour of the trades, sciences, and technology. We are a team of approximately 70 students, both boys and girls, learning to apply various skills to aid us in our ultimate goal of building and competing with a robot.

This program offers an incredibly unique opportunity for participating students. Team members hone their problem-solving skills, responsibility and organization over the six-week build season, giving an absolutely unmatched learning experience. With guidance from community mentors, students not only must design, manufacture, and program a robot to fit the rules of the FRC game, but must also maintain a website, design team apparel, and extensively plan and budget for the national and international competitions we will attend. This year, the team will be competing at 2 District Events around Ontario, and If the season progresses as well as it did last year, we will qualify for the Ontario District Championships in Hamilton, and the cap to the year would be the World Championships in Houston Texas, where we would compete and ally with teams from all over the world!
